London Short Film Festival
January 17 - January 26
Now in its 20th year, the London Short Film Festival (LSFF) is a shining example of independent cinema. LSFF, a BAFTA and BIFA qualifying event, is renowned worldwide for its audacious ingenuity and development of fresh talent, challenging the austerity and homogeneity of the time. The festival brings the city to life every January with ten days of outstanding short films, captivating live performances, and thought-provoking Q&As. Along with workshops and panels for experts in the business, LSFF carefully selects 250–500 British and foreign films from over 5,000 applications. Dedicated to diversity, LSFF highlights artists and filmmakers from a range of backgrounds, honouring both the classics and the cutting-edge works that have influenced the field. In addition to providing a stage for up-and-coming artists, LSFF pays tribute to the pioneers of independent filmmaking.
